NAPOLEON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Napoleon Police Department is warning residents and businesses of some counterfeit money circulating around the area.

Police say an investigation is ongoing, but to be on the lookout for fake money. Napoleon Police Chief Troy Nogosek says three $100 bills have been turned into his office. He encourages anyone who may come across any counterfeit money to turn it into his department.

“Businesses need to be cognizant of these fake bills,” the department states.
