give-get-grow

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce and Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation kicked off the get portion of the Give, Get, Grow campaign to a resounding response Monday.

The campaign saw donations from area businesses and organizations to a matching pool, which was then used to match the purchase of gift cards and certificates to participating businesses in Jamestown and Stutsman County. The matching pool exceeded $30,000, making for a potential $60,000 that would be injected back into the local economy.

The sale of the gift cards and certificates began Monday and the matching pool didn’t last long.

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Emily Bivens says they would be keeping the marketplace open to help those participating businesses even further.

Chamber of Commerce Board President Mary Lou Urquhart says the support from the community was evident just through this event alone.

You can still make a purchase to any of the participating businesses at jamestownchamber.com.
