JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Created to inject much needed revenue for area businesses affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Give, Get, Grow campaign will now see nearly $60,000 put back into the local economy.
Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Emily Bivens says she’s amazed at the support local businesses and organizations have had for one another during the pandemic.
Bivens says they are still accepting donations for the matching pool with their sights set on making it to $30,000 of matching funds. After that, the Get portion of the campaign will begin August 17th.
Through today, businesses who wish to have their gift certificates and gift cards matched will need to contact the Jamestown Chamber in order to receive those matching funds. As long as the matching pool lasts, each dollar will be matched.
A radio-thon hosted by i3G Media will help kick-off the Chamber Marketplace where people can buy cards and certificates.
Those who wish to either donate to the matching pool or become a participating business to receive some of those funds can contact Emily Bivens at jamestownchamber.com or call (701)-252-4830.
