CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Residents of Carrington and the surrounding area made their way to the Central City Wednesday evening for a night on the town.
A Carrington Cruise night sponsored by Thrivant Financial was held on Wednesday, August 12th to raise money for the Carrington Healthy Communities Coalition.
Katie Grager says vehicles that registered were put into a drawing for cornhole boards and to help raise money for the coalition. The event featured a cruise around Carrington, live DJ, food truck and prizes for longest haul and oldest cruiser.
The cruise also went past Golden Acres Manner for the residents.
Grager reports the event had 40 vehicles register and raised $652 for Carrington Healthy Communities Coalition.
