MEDINA, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a body found on the roadway near Medina Thursday morning.

Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser reports that a call came in around 9 AM to an accident about a mile south of the Medina exit on 53rd Avenue SE.

Kaiser says they called Medina Ambulance to the scene after discovering the body. He says investigations led them to a vehicle in the ditch further south of where the body was found.

Kaiser says at this time they’re trying to determine the identity of the deceased male. He says there is no immediate danger to the public.

The incident remains under investigation.
