VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Firefighters responded to a house fire in Valley City on Sunday, July 19th just before 4 o’clock.

Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said no one was seriously injured in the fire. He said the lone occupant of the home a man was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.

It was the second time firefighters respond to fire call at the same home this year.
Back on June 5th, firefighters removed a burning couch in the home located west of Snoeyenbos Hall off the VCSU campus.

Magnuson said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
