JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A celebration of Jamestown is scheduled for this weekend with a variety of activities available community-wide.
Formally White Cloud Days, Buffalo Days has shifted to become community-oriented and celebrate the history of Jamestown. Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Emily Bivens says it’s fortunate the community can celebrate with the pandemic.
Bivens added that the primary event the Chamber does is the annual parade.
Bivens says floats will then head East on 1st Street E and turn South on 3rd Avenue SE. The parade will continue South on 3rd Avenue SE back to McElroy Park. She encourages everyone to spread out along the parade route, which was extended to allow for more social distancing.
Other highlights of Buffalo Days include the mini art hunt, exhibits at the 1883 Stutsman County Courthouse, Buffalo Rally Car Show, Big Guns of the Old West at Fort Seward, and more. Click here for the full schedule of events.
