JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Riders from all over joined the 7th annual Ride to Silence the Stigma on Sunday.
The event has raised thousands for for those who are battling suicidal thoughts, anxiety, depression, bullying, bipolar disease and Alzheimer’s.
A major beneficiary of the ride is FirstLink, the suicide helpline for North Dakota.
Jennifer Illich is Director of Helpline Operations.
Illich says their helpline has helped thousands in just 2019 alone.
The ride was founded by Dave & Beth Lautt and is hosted by the Midnight Riders
More than 100 riders left from Stutsman Harley Davidson and made planned stops in Sanborn, Litchville, and end the ride in Ypsilanti. All proceeds raised stay local for their cause.
