North Dakota Wheat Commission
As harvest time approaches for the U.S. spring wheat crop, domestic and international customers are anxious to get the latest crop information. With many in person meetings and events put on hold this year, including the Wheat Quality Council’s Annual Spring Wheat Tour, many in the industry will miss the opportunity to see the crop potential first hand. To provide an update to our customers and others in the industry, the ND Wheat Commission and ND Grain Growers will be hosting a virtual hard red spring wheat update on Tuesday, July 28 at 9:00 a.m. CST.
The two grower groups, along with surrounding state wheat commissions and producers will provide an update on the crop conditions, production and quality outlook and other important issues that have affected the 2020 crop. Extension experts will provide agronomic and disease updates, and producers will provide in-field video shots and a first-hand discussion of crop conditions and maturity levels throughout the spring wheat region.
The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. To register and to view the full agenda, visit https://ndwheat.com/events/2020VirtualHardRedSpringWheatPreHarvestUpdate/
