JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Parks and Recreation announces that it will be hosting summer track meets in conjunction with University of Jamestown Track and Field Program.

The program runs Wednesdays July 15th, 22nd, and 29th at 5:00 p.m. at Rollie Greeno Field on the campus of University of Jamestown.

Competition age levels are 5 and under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17 and 18 & over.

Events will include running events only 50, 100, 200, 400, meter dashes and the guess your time mile run. No jumping, throwing or relay events will be held. Ribbons will be awarded to placers. 

We ask all participants and families to follow social distancing guidelines.  Only one adult will be allowed on the infield per runner.  All other spectators are expected to watch from the bleachers.
