JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Drag Racing Association (JDRA) has hosted the drag races every summer at the Jamestown Regional Airport, bringing in crowds from all around.

The annual races are set this weekend on July 11th and 12th in Jamestown. JDRA member Michael Trautman says they’re supported by the community and Jamestown Tourism to keep the strong event going.

Trautman says they’ve adjusted for the pandemic as needed, but they will mostly remain the same as it has in past years.

The event will feature six different categories of races and Trautman says they welcome anyone to join. Racers are welcome to print off registration beforehand, but can also register the day of. Cost to race one day is $50 and for both it’s $90.

The cost of admission is $10 and 6 and under get in free.
