CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The streets of Carrington will be full with Independence Day pride on July 4th.
The Carrington Chamber of Commerce is welcome any and all parade entries for the annual 4th of July parade. Chamber Executive Director Laurie Dietz says this years theme is “United We Stand.”
Dietz says the line up will begin at 4 PM at the Foster County Fairgrounds with the parade time set for 5 PM. Due to COVID-19, some things have changed including the parade route.
Dietz says wearing a mask is encouraged and there will not be any throwing of candy and items. Spectators are welcome to watch from inside a parked vehicle along the route and respect others safety and practice social distancing.
Following the parade, there will be a community firework display. Donations are welcome for the show and can be made a Bank Forward in Carrington.
