ASHLEY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A proposal to improve streets and sanitary sewer and water infrastructure for the city of Ashley, North Dakota, is currently available for public comment through July 31st.

The proposed project would include rehabilitating the approximately 70-year-old sanitary sewer system, replacing water mains and associated structures within the city’s water distribution system and improving streets throughout the city.

Approximately 117 blocks of city streets are in need of repair. Streets that are rated in poor condition would be completely replaced, while those rated in better condition would receive treatments to extend the life of the pavement.

The public is encouraged to provide comments on the draft environmental assessment which can be downloaded at: www.nwo.usace.army.mil/Missions/Civil-Works/Planning/Project-Reports/.
