ASHLEY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The name of an Ellendale man who was seriously injured following a semi rollover in rural McIntosh County has been released.

The incident happened along 63rd Avenue SE, roughly 18 miles northeast of Ashley Monday afternoon.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 60 year-old Christopher Bauer received serious injuries after losing visibility due to dry conditions and large amount of dust caused him to roll his semi. The truck came to rest in a slough on the passenger side.

Bauer was flown by Avera Careflight to St. Luke’s hospital in Aberdeen, SD to be treated for his injuries sustained in the crash.

The crash is under the investigation of the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
