JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department will resume offering fingerprinting services for the general public, starting on Tuesday, June 30th during specified times only.
An officer will be made available for fingerprinting services every Tuesday morning from 08:30 am to 10:30 am and every Thursday afternoon from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
“Individuals who need their fingerprints taken should only come to the Jamestown Police Department if they are not exhibiting any signs of being sick or feeling ill,” Major Justin Blinsky stated.
Everyone will be asked a series of COVID-19 screening questions and their temperature will be taken. Individuals will be required to provide their own facial protective mask and it must be worn during the fingerprinting service.
“Social Distancing is strongly encouraged during any wait times,” Major Blinsky added.
The standard cost for fingerprinting remains $2 for each card of fingerprints. Payment will be received, and receipts will be issued at the Jamestown Police Department office window, in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center.
