VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City firefighters responded to a call for service at an apartment building around 5:40pm on June 18th.

Residents reported lights popping and one said her electric frying pan started smoking when it was in use.

Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said city electrical crews responded to the call and fixed an electrical problem reported in the ally.

Magnuson said no injuries were reported and electrical service was restored to residents in the apartment building once crews repaired the problem.
