JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Sunday June 14th, the Stutsman County 4-H held their Clothing Revue contest at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds.
This event has three divisions and allows three age groups in each division. These events are helping to teach the 4-Her how to make, buy or create their own clothing and use good judgement and understanding of why and how this item may be useful to them.
They also have to do an interview with a judge which will help them to learn how to express their actions and speak to others.
In the Sew & Show preteen division, Aveahya LaMont was the grand champion, and Chloe Smith was reserve.
In the Buy & Show preteen age group, Chloe Smith was grand champion; in the teen group, Cheyana Smith was grand, and in the Cloverbud group, which is ages 5 to 7 and are not judged, but given the opportunity to learn how to do things, Violet Olson received the participation ribbon.
In the Decorate Your Duds preteen age group, Annabelle Rittenbach was grand champion, Elizabeth Rittenbach was reserve, and Aveahya LaMont was runner up; in the Cloverbud group – Violet Olson received participation.
Special thank you to our judge for the day, Eva Lahlum.
