CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – There have been questions regarding events being held in Foster County during the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.

Foster County Public Information Officer Danielle Koepplin says events planned at this time are at the discretion of those involved. She says permission is usually needed by area health authority leaders. Guidance is also given.

Koepplin added that leaders may ask for event planners to submit plans and logistics no later than 30 days prior to the event. She says you can contact the Emergency Operations Center, or EOC, to do this.

EOC meets to discuss pandemic response, resources for the community, and challenges and barriers the community faces.

You can reach out to Aaron Devereaux, Jodi Huvdness, Lisa Hilbert, or Danielle Koepplin to get in touch with the Foster County EOC.
