VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NDHP) – A 34 year-old Bismarck man was seriously injured in a rollover two miles east of Valley City on I-94 shortly after 5am on Thursday, June 11th.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol said the driver took the exit ramp at 296 and immediately accelerated on the entrance ramp back onto I-94 westbound at a high rate of speed. The 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe entered the median and rolled. The driver was ejected. The vehicle came to rest in the eastbound lane of I-94.
The driver was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo to be treated for life threatening injuries. The crash is still under investigation. The name of the driver will be released pending family notification.
