CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A wet fall and snow-filled winter has left county roads all over North Dakota in need of some attention.
The Foster County Commissioner recently met and discussed the current road conditions. Commissioner Becky Hagel says they’re hoping for more dry weather to help dry up certain spots.
Foster County Road Superintendent Nate Monson informed the commission that there are aren’t any more road closures, but there are some spots that are being patched and others that have to wait until it dries up.
Hagel says some of these are easy fixes, but will need to wait for drier weather.
In other county news, Alkali Lake in the McHenry township remains at a high level, with water lapping at the edge of the road. Hagel says Griggs County has begun work on their side, but a concern for McHenry is the lagoon.
