VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The following is a news release issued by the Valley City High School Class of 2020 Post Graduation Party Committee.

“On behalf of the VCHS Class of 2020 Post Graduation Party Committee, congratulations seniors. I don’t have to tell you why, but because of regulations involving the Covid-19 Pandemic, our plans weren’t able to come to fruition this year. Instead we had a drive through prize give-away at the Eagles Club. A random system was used with each student being assigned a number to go along with a corresponding envelope. Each envelope had the same dollar amount in it, and some had stars on them to signify a larger prize had also been won. These prizes would have been drawn for at the post-graduation celebration during a normal year. If you weren’t able to make it to the drive through drawing, your envelope will be in the packet you receive at the graduation ceremony.

The kids that won the larger prizes are Landon Bakke, Kaitlyn Bergner, James Burk, Heather Fischer, Talia Germann, Blake Hagen, Cali Halgrimson, Austin Hearlson, Jacob Lang, Conner May, Sloan Meidinger, Samantha Nelson, Lindsey Noeske, Trevan Pfennig, Bennett Roglestad, Chase Ross, Benjamin Schuldheisz, Kaylee Smith, Alexis Triebold, Alexa Uecker, Collin White, Trevor Winter, and Austin Zubrod.

Congratulations to all of the graduates on all you’ve accomplished. Good luck to you all in whatever path you choose to go.

The graduation ceremony will take place at Hanna Field on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 7:00 PM. Each student has a limited number of tickets for guests, so the ceremony is closed to the public, but the event will be live streamed on NewsDakota.com click on the Video tab to watch it live.”
