JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Local Democratic-Nonpartisan League candidates from District 12 will be hosting a drive-thru event on Thursday, June 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at McElroy Park.
Boxed dinners will be delivered to vehicles passing by the Sertoma Shelter in the park for just $12 a box or a freewill offering.
“There’s no need for people to get out of their vehicle, as we practice social distancing,” said Chad Elhard, Dist. 12 chair. “Just roll down your window and we’ll deliver a delicious dinner to you.”
The meal includes a pulled pork sandwich, salad, chips, dessert and bottled water.
Sen. John Grabinger is seeking reelection to a third term in the North Dakota Senate. George Barnes and Pam Musland are seeking election in the House as Dist. 12 representatives.
