JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce has been in contact with the Department of Health, Central Valley Health, and local health officials while they work to plan Buffalo Days this summer.
Formally referred to as White Cloud Days, Buffalo Days has been an annual celebration of community in Jamestown. Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Emily Bivens says they’re being proactive and cautious as they plan around the tentative July dates.
While full details aren’t known, Bivens says they’re aiming for July 25th and 26th with the parade and other activities.
While some events won’t occur such as the Fire Department’s Pancake Feed, Bivens says they remain in touch with other sites in Jamestown for events.
The planned parade will still travel up 1st Avenue and circle back to McElroy Park down 3rd Avenue SE to allow for social distance.
More weekend details are expected to be released at a later date.
