JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.Com) – The Board of Directors of the Stutsman County Memorial Museum has decided to delay opening of the museum.
According to a press release from President Donald Nelson, there are too many “touchable” surfaces within the museum to make any attempt to make them safe impractical. The board will revisit this decision in late June to decide whether to open in July.
The board has also decided that the popular “Front Porch Chats” would be canceled for 2020.
During this time, the board decided to proceed with a much needed inventory of the museum’s collection.
