VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Due to the pandemic the Valley City Public School District could not have their annual recognition of staff and awards ceremony in the Hi Liner Activity Center due to Governor Burgum’s executive order limiting mass gatherings.
Superintendent Josh Johnson announced the 2020 Teacher of the Year award went to Matt Nielson.
And the Valley City Education Association Friend of Education Award went to Kyla Fetsch.
Congratulation to Kyla Fetsch and Matt Nielson. Several teachers were recognized for their years of service to the school district as they retire from their careers in the school district following the 2019-2020 school year. The retires are listed below and we wish them all the best in their retirement.
