JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier reports that this is the final weekend to bag a bird with the spring turkey season coming to a close.
Leier also reminds residents that deer applications are out and some area units have great opportunities for deer hunting.
Leier says with this information, it’s important for hunters to decide which unit they want to get their license in.
Leier says the deadline to apply for a tag is June 3rd.
In other Game & Fish news, Leier says fishing tournaments are being permitted at this time through the summer in North Dakota.
The paddlefish snag and release season also opens today and runs through May 23rd.
