CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Foster County Soil Conservation District (FCSCD) and Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has some familiar faces in different positions.

Brent Skjolden started with NRCS about 3 and a half years ago and grew up in Benson County.

Skjolden will be working directly with farmers in the county and those who are interested in the different government programs.

Kayla Feiring was the Farm Bill Specialist, but most recently moved over as a soil conservationist.

Easton Brown was also recently hired on as a technician for the Foster County Soil Conservation District.

Dionn Schaaf, SCD District Manager, added that recent conditions have not allowed them to plant just yet. She stated they also have the manure spreader and drill available for rent. She says the drill will be offered as a service at $20 an acre.
