JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Arts Center has been busy preparing for a re-opening this summer before their Downtown Arts Market begin in June.
Executive Director Mindi Schmitz reports that the COVID-19 pandemic forced their doors closed in March, but they are excited to reopen this June.
Schmitz says the reopening is contingent on changing plans or announcements. She says they’ll have available information on their summer camps, online classes for after school and adults, and their popular Downtown Arts Market.
Schmitz says they’re looking forward to starting the Arts Market on June 11th.
She added that they’ll be taking precautions with the Downtown Arts Market, which means it may be presented a little differently this summer.
The Downtown Arts Market is a weekly event featuring live music, art activity, food, games, and more. The event will be every Thursday at the Hansen Arts Park in Jamestown.
Schmitz says they continue to provide classes and are taking registrations for their summer camps.
