JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Signs of winter are in the rear-view mirror as warmer temps hit North Dakota.
This means perfect conditions for fishing. Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says they’re encouraging everyone to get outside and fish, but make sure you’re prepared.
Leier says you can save your license to your phone or print it off for Game Wardens. He recommends saving it anywhere you can get quick access to it.
He also says anglers need to keep in mind length regulation on Jamestown Reservoir & Pipestem for walleye.
Leier added it’s also important to take precautions to help prevent spread of aquatic nuisances if you’re taking out a boat.
You can listen to Doug Leier every Thursday at 7:35 AM on Big Dog 95.5 FM with JD in the Morning.
