JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The June 9th Primary will be a lot different this year in North Dakota.
County Auditor Nicole Meland reports that Stutsman County, along with the rest of North Dakota, will be conducting the June 9th Primary election through mail-in ballot only.
Meland says the sent application should get to all active and non-active voters sometime this week. She says this includes anyone who has a drivers licence or non-drivers ID. If you don’t receive an application by May 11th, you’re encouraged to visit vote.nd.gov to complete an application.
Meland says she needs this information before you can receive a ballot.
Meland encourages anyone who may be new to the area to also contact the Stutsman County Auditor’s Office with any questions and they’ll help where they can. She expects ballots to be mailed out beginning today.
She added that there will also be physical drop-off locations for the ballots in Jamestown for Stutsman County residents.
If you have questions or need an assistive device to vote, contact Nicole Meland at (701) 252-9035 or follow the Stutsman County Facebook page.
