JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two people were hurt following a rollover Tuesday evening 8 miles south of Jamestown.

The driver was traveling westbound on 44th Street SE at around 7:36 PM when he became distracted by the passenger’s mobile device. The driver lost control of the Ford F-150, entered the north ditch and overturned.

The 19 year-old female driver and 20 year-old female passenger both received minor injuries. The driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol and the passenger was arrested for minor in consumption.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. They were assisted by the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.
