JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A staff member of the Anne Carlsen Center tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
Anne Carlsen Center CEO Tim Eisner says they have had precautions in place since March this year, initially in response to the potential of a flood event.
Eisner says this transitioned into daily meetings and reviews for COVID-19. To help alleviate traffic, Eisner says they also increased their telehealth services.
Eisner says when they had a positive test, they began working with the North Dakota Department of Health to get more than 340 staff and members on the campus tested and screened.
Mandy Serfoss. Employee Health/Infection Control Coordinator, says they have been monitoring staff since implementation in March.
Serfoss says all employees and residents who came in contact with their one positive case have been accounted for.
Serfoss took point during the mass screening and says they expect the results to come through by Thursday.
