JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Finance & Legal Committee heard the latest presentation from Jamestown Community Corrections Thursday afternoon.

Sarah Frohlich has been with the program for three years. She says they are working to enter into another Community Service Administration Agreement under the name of Jamestown Community Corrections.

The non-profit would be a community service program under the management of the Jamestown Correction Center and under supervision of the North Dakota Department of Corrections or City of Jamestown.

Frohlich says she works with Jamestown Municipal Court and monitors community service orders by the court. She says she currently also works with McIntosh & Dickey Counties and continues to work on the contract with Stutsman County.

The agreement would give a bill to the city monthly, billing $4 an hour each offender work and $10 for each non-compliance report Frohlich needs to file.

If approved, the agreement would commence January 1st, 2021 and expire on December 31st, 2021.
