JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Central Valley Health District has confirmed that a second case of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has tested positive in Stutsman County.
Unit Administrator Robin Iszler says they are working to identify people who have been in close contact with the individual under the direction of the North Dakota Department of Health.
The case was found in an 18 year-old Stutsman County resident and was through community spread.
A third case was also confirmed in the county by the North Dakota Department of Health, however Iszler says they had put down a different address than Stutsman County.
As of Monday, April 20th, there have been 14,747 tests conducted with 627 positive cases in North Dakota. So far, 87 people have recovered, 17 are currently hospitalized, and 13 have died.
