
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents of a high risk registered sex offender that is residing within the city of Jamestown.
50 year-old Monte Lyle Hojian is currently residing at 414 4th Street NE #3. He is described as a white male, 5’09” tall, weighing 190 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.
Hojian’s charges include:
Offense: Gross Sexual Imposition – While working as a hotel employee, Hojian lured a 6 yr old boy into the hotel sauna and fondled him. Conviction Date: 06/02/1997 Burleigh County District Court, ND. Disposition: 10 years
Offense: Indecent Exposure – Hojian exposed himself in public, which resulted in a parole violation. Conviction Date: 03/09/1995 Burleigh County District Court, ND. Disposition: 30 days jail; 10 days suspended
Offense: Gross Sexual Imposition – Hojian approached a 4 yr old boy playing in his backyard and offered the boy candy to lick his penis, which Hojian proceeded to do. Conviction Date: 01/28/1988 Burleigh County District Court, ND. Disposition: 10 years; 6 years suspended for 5 years; 5 years supervised probation
Offense: Corrupt/Solicitation of Minor – Hojian also offered candy to a 7 yr old boy for sexual favors, but the boy ran and told his dad. Conviction Date: 01/28/1988 Burleigh County District Court, ND. Disposition: 6 months
Offense: Gross Sexual Imposition – on successive days, Hojian molested a 6 yr old and 7 yr old boy in a department store bathroom. Conviction Date: 10/15/1985 Burleigh County Juvenile Court, ND. Disposition: 18 Months State Youth Authority
He is currently on GPS monitoring.
Hojian is not currently wanted at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety only and should not increase fear in the community. Any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten an offender will be turned over for prosecution.
