JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Myra Klein has been an arts instructor since 2006, providing young children to adults fun craft ideas and more.

Now she’s using her experience during the ongoing pandemic to create art videos and it’s going nationwide.

Klein says she got inspiration to start doing art projects on Facebook as soon as it was announced that schools would be shutting their doors for the rest of the school year.

One sleepless night later, Klein had come up with a plan to broadcast different arts activities for children every weekday online. She says anyone can watch the videos and lessons use typical things that you can find around the house.

Klein says since she began doing the live videos, the response has been extremely positive with some of her videos being watched in other states like Kansas and Oklahoma.

If items Klein uses are not immediately available, she says she’ll include an extra activity for the day.

She added that teens and parents are also welcome to join, with each Thursday being dedicated to a slightly more advanced lesson for the younger children and adults.

Those who wish to join Klein in her daily projects are encouraged to visit her Facebook page or search Art with Miss Myra on YouTube.
