JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – When COVID-19 hit the state, health units were some of the first entities to spring into action and do what they could.
Central Valley Health District, who serves all of Stutsman and Logan counties, reports that even with all of their recent work regarding COVID-19, they still continue all their other services to the public.
Unit Administrator Robin Iszler says they’ve adjusted as needed to make sure all the different services they have are still available to those who need it. She added that along with WIC, they are also continuing immunizations.
Other services includes Women’s Way, restaurant inspections, and on-site septic program.
Director of Health Promotion Shannon Kaiser added that April is also alcohol prevention awareness month.
She says they are also continuing to provide child safety seat inspections and car seats for those who may need them.
