CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Carrington archery team and many other teams across the state couldn’t compete in the regular scheduled State NASP archery tournament in March in Minot because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, but instead officials decided to have a virtual tournament. Second year Co-Coach for Carrington, Greg Hoeckle said that coaches throughout the state sent in the their teams entries by putting in the archers best scores from this years completed tournaments. Carrington had one archer who placed in both the 3D and Bullseye high school boys division. Trapper Depew placed ninth in 3D and sixth in Bullseye, (283, 291). He also made the All State team and was sixth overall.
