JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce continues to find unique ways to keep supporting local business during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Executive Director Emily Bivens reports that they’re continuing to promote local businesses and employees with their Business of the Month award and Customer Service award. She says following Governor Doug Burgum’s executive order, they looked at creative ways for supporting local.
Bivens says a fun way they’re encouraging local support is their ongoing Business Bingo. Residents can fill out a bingo card of different “challenges” and once completed, they can turn them into the chamber for a chance to win chamber bucks.
She added that they continue to update their site with the latest information and resources. This includes a page with chamber businesses and their current operations.
The other page they have is resources for local business owners, employers, and employees.
