JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown’s annual Dine & Bid is one of their largest fundraisers for student scholarships.
Originally set for an April date, the event was postponed to May 30th. Director of Alumni Relations Setareh Campion says everything else with the event will stay the same.
The event invites alumni, businesse leaders, and more to come out and support the University. Campion added that the event continues to be one of the University’s biggest fundraisers.
From there, the floor of the Harold Newman Arena is lined with tables for a meal by Sodexo beginning at 6:30 PM.
Campion stated that because the event has been postponed, they are still taking registrations for the fundraiser. She says they have will have everything based around a central theme.
University of Jamestown Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations Brett Moser says, “Dine and Bid is the premier event for our campus community every spring. Although it is not ideal, we are postponing the event so that we may celebrate together in the future. The event is the culmination of the success of our academic year, while raising money for student scholarships as we look to the future. We look forward to having our campus, alumni, and Jamestown community all come together after a long season of being apart.”
Registration will remain open through the middle of May. You can visit uj.edu for more information.
