JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown High senior Boden Skunberg was among the seven finalist named for North Dakota’s Mr. Basketball award. It is the second consecutive year that Jamestown has had a finalist for Mr. Basketball following Mason Walters’ win in 2019.

Skunberg played in 16 games in his final year with the Blue Jays averaging 28.5 points per game and over 11 rebounds per contest. He missed a pair of games with the flu and then missed the final seven games with a broken hand.

The award will be announced on Friday, March 27th at 7pm.

Skunberg will play his collegiate basketball at North Dakota State, along with fellow Mr. Basketball finalist Grant Nelson.
