CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Foster County Public Health continues to encourage residents to maintain healthy habits to prevent the spread of disease in the area.

Foster County Public Health Administrator Lisa Hilbert says they continue to monitor the Coronavirus and the latest information from the CDC and North Dakota Department of Health. Hilbert says with information constantly changing and being updated, it’s important to find information from official and factual sources.

Hilbert says it’s important for everyone right now to be “socially responsible.”

Hilbert says this will help flatten the curve of the disease and alleviate any stress on area healthcare facilities.

Hilbert says there are several steps residents can take to maintain social distancing.

By following guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control, North Dakota Department of Health, and local health officials, Hilbert says there’s hope for limiting the potential spread of COVID-19.
