Fargo, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The flood fight for the Spring of 2020 is underway in Fargo and Cass County.  Fargo’s Sandbag Central officially opened for business early this morning.

There is a change in how the city Fargo and Cass county are filling their sandbags this year.  They are combining their operations and are working together at one location in north Fargo.

Sandbag Central opened at 7 a.m. this morning and  will continue on a 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekday schedule until the 400,000 sandbag goal has been reached. Sandbag Central is located at 2301 8th Avenue North in Fargo.
