BISMARCK, N.D. (Prairie Public Radio) – Governor Burgum says there is some good news about the Coronavirus outbreak.
Burgum was on a conference call with Vice President Pence, who is chairing the White House efforts to try and contain the virus, as well as representatives from the Centers for Disease Control.
So Burgum says that means the state will shift its focus towards vulnerable seniors, especially those with underlying chronic disease.
And Burgum says it appears the number of new cases in China is down from previous levels. And he says there’s a lot of coordination among states and the federal government to try and contain the virus.
