DICKINSON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Make ir five years in a row and seven out of the last eight state gymnastics team titles have gone to Dickinson.

The Midgets took first in all four events and finished with a score of 148.967 to take the top spot. Jamestown was second with 145.100 and Valley City took third with a 140.733.

The Hi-Liners were tied for second on the vault, third on the bars, fifth on the beam and third on the floor.

The individual portion of the State Meet is Saturday beginning at 1pm in Dickinson.

Valley City has six athletes qualifying for the individual. Karina Olson, Jocey Kriewald, Olivia Olson, Abby Thornton and Grace Undem have qualified in the all around and Madison Wendel qualified on the vault.

The Hi-Liners finish was their best finish and best score since placing third in 2017 with a 142.317.
