VALLEY CITY, N.D. (PPR) – Valley City State University will be launching a $25 million fundraising campaign. The money will be used for capital improvement projects and scholarships.

Under the plan, one project includes building a facility south of W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse to add locker room space for coaches and athletes.

Dr. Alan LaFave is president of Valley City State University.

But, LaFave said there’s more to the project than athletics.

The matter is before the state Board of Higher Education. LaFave said once the idea is approved by the board, work will being on the methodology of the fundraising campaign.
