JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The EZ Wheels Shrine Club in Jamestown first held a cornhole tournament three years ago. Just last year, they started the first ever Jamestown cornhole league.

This year, they’re aiming to host their biggest cornhole tournament yet.

The tournament was started to help raise money for the Shriners mission of assisting in transportation cost to Children’s Hospitals.

Club member Larry Hust says everything they raise is given right back to their cause. This tournament has helped them raise a lot for those transportation costs.

Member Craig Beedy says they have a lot of space for teams, but registrations fill quickly.

Hust added that they’ve built some of the boards that will be used and some will even be given out as prizes.

Teams are guaranteed at least three games and prizes will be awarded to the top teams.

Beedy says inclement weather hurt the tournament a little last year, but says they’re looking forward to a good weekend of games and fun.

The cost per team is $50 and you can only register at ezwheels.org. The tournament will be held March 7th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jamestown beginning at 12 PM.
