OBERON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Several individuals were arrested following a high speed pursuit north of Oberon Sunday.

North Dakota Highway Patrol Sgt. Matthew Johnson reports that an on patrol trooper was on U.S. Highway 281 north of Minnewaukan when they attempted to stop a vehicle traveling 83 mph in a 65 mph zone.

While in the process of making the stop, the vehicle fled and increased speed to 110 mph. The vehicle eventually lost control and ran off the roadway north of Oberon. Both driver and passengers were uninjured.

The rooper found the vehicle and conducted a felony stop on the car and individuals. All were taken into custody and the case was given to BIA for further investigation.
