JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota State Hospital Inpatient Program Director Kim Kapp will be serving in a distinct opportunity with the National Council for Behavioral Health.

North Dakota State Hospital Administrator Tonya Perkins reports that Kapp will participate in the health disparities leadership program.

“Kim was one of only 16 participants nationally selected to participate in the program,” Perkins says. “Throughout 2020, she will have an opportunity to work with leaders across the nation through webinars, coaching and on-site collaborative meetings to learn about, create, and implement programs that address health disparities.”

Perkins says they are excited for her to bring what she learns back to the North Dakota State Hospital to create positive changes for their employees and clients.

“Investing in the learning and growth of our employees is critical to NDSH’s success, and this is another great opportunity for that to happen.”
