VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The filmmaker of the 2019 documentary “Right to Harm” Matt Wechsler plans to be in Valley City on February 20th.

The film will be shown in the Barnes County Museum on February 20th in downtown Valley City. A panel discussion about factory farming will follow the movie. The event is free and open to the public.

Reporter Steve Urness interviewed Wechsler on our Voice of the Valley program to talk about the focus of the documentary film.

Wechsler and his wife Annie Speicher also produced the documentary “Sustainable” in 2016 which focuses on the future food supply in America. The film received the 2016 Global Humanitarian Award for Outstanding Achievement.

The filmmakers have two children and live in Evanston, Illinois on an urban farm.
